Narmi is a qualified and trained Psychologist from the University of Sydney, and holds multiple qualifications, including a Masters in Clinical Psychology, Masters in Health (Behaviour) and a Bachelors of Psychology (University of Auckland). She has 15 years of experience working in the field of Psychology. She provides counselling for young children, adolescents, families, couples and adults for a range of psychological needs.
Narmi has been trained by Internationally recognised leading experts in the area of Trauma, issues relating to attachment and Moods Disorders. She is a leader in the area of Mindfulness, Compassionate Focused Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
Narmi has unique skills and is passionate about working with children, adolescents and their families, in the area of anxiety, depression, PTSD, school refusal, parental separation, bullying, ADHD, self-inflicted behaviour and HSC Stress.
With Adults, Narmi can provide treatment for, workplace stress, grief, loss in relationships, anxiety, depression, and issues relating to attachment, parenting and personal growth. She offers service options that are respectful of clients and their cultures and incorporate their preferences.
Narmi worked for the last 18 years and has extensive experience working across a broad range of settings including: Community Mental Health, Private Inpatient and Outpatient settings, School Counsellor, Trauma Services, Pain Clinic, Rehabilitation , Disability Services & also in Culture Change in the Cooperate environment.
Renowned for her collaborative, compassionate and empathetic approach, Narmi provides a safe and nurturing environment for clients to deepen their understanding of their emotional issues and develop the skills they need to move forward.

Narmi aims to continuously further her clinical knowledge through ongoing professional education, training, contributing in conferences and workshops.
David has worked across various clinical psychology settings, including inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, in a university clinic, and in private practice. He is passionate about working with adults, children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression grief, adjustment difficulties, general stress and relationship difficulties. He has published research on anxiety disorders. His main therapy modalities include CBT, ACT, DBT, and schema therapy. As an individual, David is a warm and compassionate therapist, yet thrives on utilising evidence based therapy approaches to help clients achieve positive mental health outcomes.
David is also the Testing Clinic Lead at Breakthrough Psychology Practice, conducting Psychometric Testing for intellectual disability, learning disorders, and ADHD. He is very passionate about conducting a thorough assessment which can have a significant impact on a child’s education and well-being in a school, home and social setting. David goes the extra effort to collaborate with parents, school teachers and Paediatrian during and after the completion of the Psychometric Testing.
He looks forward to running group programs at Breakthrough in the near future, including Study Without Stress (for year 11 and 12 students) and the Cool Kids Anxiety Program (for children of all ages).
David previously worked as a musician and music tutor in high schools. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and playing double bass.
