Dr Huzan Daver

Dr Huzan has over 30 years of extensive experience as a Psychotherapist and Accredited Social Worker. She is genuine, authentic and aims to build trusting and collaborative relationships through empathy. She is passionate about helping people through their most vulnerable times and wishes to inspire and motivate people through personal transformation.
Dr Huzan was born and brought up in India but has lived and worked in the UK, Canada, and Australia. She received her BA in Psychology and Masters in Mental Health Social Work from India and then went on to receive a PhD in Social Work in the UK. Dr Huzan continues to facilitate workshops and provides counselling to clients globally. Dr Huzan has experience working with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, and schizophrenia. She is very culturally sensitive and has worked with a large spectrum of clients. She has experience working with migrants, cultural groups such as LGBTQI+, and with complex medical needs, such as aphasia, cancer, and terminal illness.
Dr Huzan is passionate about giving back to the community in all aspects. She has authored three books, most recently “My True Reality” - a book about spirituality and mindfulness. She is currently a lecturer at the Australian College for Applied Professionals (ACAP) for the Masters of Counselling Course. She has also appeared on numerous podcasts and videos to continue spreading her knowledge. Dr Huzan is also a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), and International Energetic Healers Association (IEHA).
Personally, Dr Huzan practices what she teaches and enjoys mindfulness, meditation, and yoga. Outside the clinic, she loves reconnecting with nature and animals.
Dr Huzan is available on Fridays 8am-10am and Saturdays between 8am-2pm.
